Northern Michigan's Favorite Place to Propose

As a local Traverse City Photographer, I can confidently say that there are countless beautiful locations for a proposal in this charming Northern Michigan town. However, when Nathan reached out to me in search of something truly remarkable and private, I knew just where to take him.

I spent an entire day exploring the Mission Point Peninsula and visiting every vineyard in the area. That's when I stumbled upon Chateau Chantal winery. This charming winery features stunning 360-degree views of the rolling vineyards and gorgeous water surrounding the peninsula. The arbor overlooking the vineyard and bay was the perfect backdrop for Nathan's proposal to Julie.

Located on the Bed and Breakfast side of Chateau Chantal, the couple was not only blessed with a breathtaking view, but also a little bit of privacy. There was a small crowd of well-wishers gathered on the deck far enough away that they could see, but not hear this sweet proposal. Nathan worked hard to pull off the perfect proposal to Julie, and his efforts paid off in a big way. These two share a connection that is unparalleled, and this proposal was so incredibly moving- there wasn't a dry eye in sight.

Shortly after Julie accepted, there were cheers of congratulations from onlookers enjoying the harvest festival, and then all four sets of parents brought flowers and tears of congratulations. This location has everything you could ask for in a proposal, but the best part was the undeniable love that Nathan and Julie share.
