How do you photograph weddings?
Our classic modern style tells the story of your special day. We blend traditional techniques and candid shots to create a unique and authentic look. Our goal is to capture genuine joy and precious moments in a natural way, whether you prefer candid or posed shots. We'll work together to create a photography coverage that suits your style and makes you feel comfortable. Our aim is to capture the candid moments, stunning portraits, and natural connections of your wedding day.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I’m a wedding photographer based in Michigan, with a focus on Northern Michigan weddings. No travel fees apply if your venue is within 200 miles of Thompsonville, MI— this includes Traverse City, Manistee, Ludington, Cadillac, Leelaneau Peninsula, and other nearby areas. If your venue is outside of these areas, a travel fee may apply, but please don't hesitate to reach out. If your venue is on my bucket list, all travel fees are waived. Regardless of location, I’m excited to capture your story!
When will we get our photos?
You'll receive a sneak peek of your photos within 48 hours after your event. The complete online gallery link with all your photos will be delivered within 6-8 weeks (contracts call for 12 weeks in case of an emergency, but we always aim to deliver as quickly as possible). You'll have the option to download high-resolution digital copies, share on social media, create a favorites list, and order prints directly from your gallery. We take great pride in our work, so each photo undergoes careful editing in our signature true-to-life finish, as well as a black and white copy for a classic touch.
How many pictures will we receive?
On average, an 8-hour wedding coverage yields between 400-800 images. While we do not limit the number of images you’ll receive, the final count may vary depending on your schedule, style, and approach. Be assured that you will receive the most exceptional and meaningful photos that will beautifully capture the essence of your wedding day.
Do you offer professional albums and wall art?
We've got you covered in every detail for your printing needs. Offering the highest quality Custom Prints, Artwork, and Heirloom-Quality Albums, our professional printing options include wood, metal, and acrylic wall art. Create a custom design that captures your memories in a luxurious heirloom album from the convenience of your gallery print shop. We're confident that you'll find the perfect printing option to display your memories in a beautiful way.
Do you offer flexible payment options?
We've Got You Covered: Flexible Payment Options for Your Wedding Photography
We understand that weddings can be expensive, and you deserve high-quality photography without breaking the bank. That's why we offer flexible payment options tailored to your unique budget. Here's how it works:
A 25% deposit is required to secure your booking and retain our services.
The remaining balance can be paid in one lump sum, or you can choose up to six installments leading up to your wedding day.
Most couples prefer to pay a deposit with the final payment due one week before the wedding.
Let's work together to create a payment plan that fits your needs and ensures that your special day is captured perfectly.
How will you protect my investment?
At Treehouse Studios, we understand that your wedding day is a once-in-a-lifetime event that cannot be reproduced. We take pride in our work and want to ensure that your investment is well protected. We do this in several ways. Firstly, we back up your images twice as we photograph your wedding, making sure that your precious memories are safe. We are also backing up your images to our computer, an external hard drive and a cloud hosting. This ensures that even if one of these backups fails, there is always a backup available.
Secondly, once your images have been edited, we back them up again on our own external hard drive, in addition to providing unlimited hosting of your wedding gallery online. This means that you can access your images at any time, and they are always safe and secure.
We also take the necessary steps to protect you by creating a custom contract that is written to protect both parties and outline all expectations. We carry proper insurance and run a legal business, giving you peace of mind that you are working with a professional and reputable photographer.
